Christmas at Dan's - Part 1

This Christmas, I am so lucky to be spending it with Dan and his family. They're all so nice, they even waited for me to finish my essays and uni work so that I could help decorate the Christmas tree! They have so many cute little trinkets and baubles for the tree. Each of them have a meaning and were bought at a different time or place.

Rudolph tea cosy. Pretty cute huh? :D

Pretty Christmas village.

Exciting! It's a real tree! Haha. I've just never had a real Christmas tree, because y'know there aren't big Christmas trees in Malaysia where it's hot all year round lol.

His mom and family usually pick up a bauble wherever they travel to - which I think makes the tree so much more interesting and meaningful.

I think this one is from their holiday in Italy this summer... I think haha. Will have to ask again.

It's a lovely little tree - petite but just the right shape :)

After all the tree decorating we had a little bite to eat: ham, cheese, pickle and poached egg on toast. Yummy. Since the pastrami sandwich I've been having pickle with everything! Okay, not everything. Just sandwiches. But yeah. Pickles! Woo!

Coming soon, Christmas at Dan's - Part 2!
