DOUBLE DEATH BY CHOCOLATE... DUN DUN DUNNNNN! Dan and I made cookies over the holidays. We each got a cookbook for Christmas and while Dan got the Gordon Ramsay one, I got The Great British Bake Off cookbook :D It has all the best stuff from the second series, which is just wonderful. I didn't even think to get the book but I remember thinking when I was watching the show that I ought to go look for the recipes :D I'm so lucky haha.

Proper recipe with measurements! Well all recipes have measurements but this time we had a scale. The last time we made cookies, we were at my flat which does not have a scale... We still tried to estimate how much flour and sugar had to go in and kinda just guessed. The measurements were all wildly wrong lol but at least it still tasted good just kinda soggy haha... But that's another story.

We experimented to see if we could make a chocolate thingy to coat it but I messed up to it was too runny so we had to try to let it set in the fridge.
Turned out alright I think :) I think the recipe called for walnuts or something but we used macadamia instead - it was really good. Light and chocolatey but not in a sickly way; we will definitely be making these again :)
