Chicken Soup

I am officially done with uni work! Not one essay or presentation is on my list of things to do. Fantastic! I'm glad that I've made it through the last three years knowing that I've put in my best effort. Quite proud of that, I think.

It's definitely been one hell of an experience. I know people always say things like that and it's quite cheesy but well, it is what it is I suppose. I guess now all that's left is to wait for the results D: Wish me luck, folks!

Anyway,

I have a huge backlog of posts, and this one is from a while back. Dan and I made chicken soup -  it was just nice and fresh. I think it probably needed more time for the flavour to develop, because we made it just a couple of hours before we wanted to eat it.

So yeah, it definitely needed a little more kick in the flavour department. But the chicken was so lovely and tender. Mmm.

If you'd like the recipe, you can get it if you click here :)

Haha I love these. Somehow Dan got a hold of some dinky carrots. Aren't they cute?

I'm not that big a fan of celery. Maybe in soups but not so much raw :/

Onions and shallots.

Chicken from the Co-operative. I think that's quite value for money - plus, it's already gutted and cleaned :)

Pretty colours!

Goodbye, Mr. Chicken.

Nice toasty bread.

Lovely warming soup.
