London: The Diner

Dan and I headed down to London for the Entrepreneurs Conference 2012 this week and it was great! Not just because we got to see Bill Clinton speak (which was excellent) but also because of the food. Oh the glorious food.

We decided that since we were in London, we'd have a food day. A whole day of food! Needless to say, we were excited :D One of our first stops was The Diner in Camden where we had a very yummy brunch.

Dan patiently waits for the food :)

Sweet Potato fries. The best thing I've eaten in a while. They're so crisp and fluffy and they have this light sweetness when you bite into them. Mmmm. Very tasty.

We shared the Hungry Man's Breakfast. It was... ginormous. Very filling - which was good because we needed a real kick-starter for our day.

Nothing like fried egg on toast - especially if it's got runny yolk :)

Enjoying the view.

Kept picking up giant clusters of sweet potato fries. Not complaining though :)

Good job Dan didn't notice haha.

Almost forgot about the Hazelnut and Nutella milkshake. OMG. It's like drinking heaven. If that's at all possible. Well it is if you order this milkshake. Creamy, not too sweet and super hazelnutty. Words fail me. Just go try it.

I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is nice - they really have that American diner vibe down. Also, the food is good. So yeah.

Small downers: Prices are a bit steep (average for London I guess) but the portions are good. We ordered one milkshake to share and it came in two glasses! Can't get much more value for money than that really.
