This is the Christmas at Dan's - Part 2 post :) How exciting! I had a wonderful Christmas Day with Dan and his family. I had my first ever Christmas Morning where I went downstairs to see if Santa left any presents - never have I seen so many presents in one room of which I had a share. As the British say, I was well chuffed with that. Ha. Okay. So I'm still working on my British colloquialisms. Bear with me!
It was just so great! There were so many presents, I felt like a kid again :) And then the best part Christmas started - the big Christmas dinner. Special thanks to Dan's mom for making all the delicious food! She was really busy on Christmas Eve cooking up a storm in the kitchen and boy was everything just super tasty :D Dan's family made this Christmas really special for me and I'm just very thankful for them letting me be a part of it.
Roast turkey, a variety of vegetables, stuffing and homemade yorkshire puddings.
The roast parsnips were my favourite :)
What I got in one of the crackers we opened! Owh yeah!
Fruit flan.
Super yummy banana trifle!
The Queen's Speech haha. Apparently, it was broadcast in 3D O_O
Mince pies.
One of the things I got for Christmas :)
It's really really yummy.
Bakewell tart chocolate. Mmm.
Dan's mom made Nigella's Christmas Cake :D
Doesn't everything look really good?!
I think it's one of the most Christmassy Christmasses I've ever had. Just really perfect :)
