Sangria

Quite a few weeks ago now, Paulo had a party at his place to celebrate the end of our uni year, and to just have a good time with everyone. Paulo is the best, he gives everyone big bear hugs (see last image) and is just an all round super great guy. He lives with his wife, Vikki, in a cute house and they both make great food. She makes specialty cakes and he is a chef at a restaurant when he's not at uni.

I have wonderful friends. Friends who laugh and eat and eat and eat. So it's great that we have a lot in common haha. There was also Sangria! It was quite delicious and therefore, three pitchers of it disappeared quickly...

Deadly Sangria.

There are lots of recipes for sangria and I don't think it's too hard to make. That said, I've tried a few different ones from restaurants and others that friends have made, and Paulo's was definitely the nicest and tastiest. The recipe however, remains with him. Although, here's one recipe that seems quite good.

Chicken fajitas for dinner :)

There is something very satisfying about making your own wrap. I have decided that wrapped foods or foods in parcels are usually pretty good. Fajitas, spring rolls, popiah, ravioli, pies, sausage rolls, cornish pasties! You name it! I haven't encountered any food wrapped in food that hasn't tantalized my taste-buds. I realise that this is a big generalisation, but this is a blog, not the BBC.

Aw, Paulo! Gonna miss you, man.
